Day 14
Parker had a pretty good day today. Started him on a pain drip to manage his pain. He had a rough night last night with pain. All the doctors are saying he's doing well. Labs are all doing good. Just keeping an eye on his belly and letting it rest. So no milk for at least a week. He still gets nutrition through his PICC line. He's back on his phototherapy today. Still doing well on the vent. His oxygen levels still tend to drop every so often, so we have to increase the oxygen, and then he does too well do they decrease it again. I learned a new phrase, it called "chasing the vent". He is such a strong kid!!
