Amber update on 16 May @ 1828:
Day 13
Poor Parker had a busy day today. New PICC line, adjusted his
breathing tube and had a bag placed over his ostomy. He didn't get to be
left alone till almost 5pm. But all things that needed to be done. On
the bright side his ostomy put out quite a bit of stool. The surgeon was
surprised it was already working. He tends to surprise all of us. Such a
trooper. Hopefully he gets some good rest tonight
May God bless all of you and grant you strength during this trying time. My daughter was born almost 3 mo premature and was in the NICU for 6 wks. I know how hard it is to have to leave little Parker every night when all you want to do is hold him. Your love for him and your faith in God will carry you through, along with the support from family and friends. Don't forget to take care of yourselves too. We're all praying for you and especially for Parker!
